I scarcely take photographs which are not related with railways. But sometimes I do when such as:
|
The carrot in the garden are just to blossom. Unfortunately, the root has not grown up to be eaten. |
I have been looking forward to see the total eclipse of the moon. Unfortunately, the thick cloud covered the sky during the total eclipse. It was after the moon eclipse status changed from total to partial that the moon could be seen. |
Sinse I found a lizard on the flat stone in the edge of the garden, I took its photograph. No gecko has appeared after the exterior repaint of my house was done three weeks ago, but the lizard in the garden seemes to be lively. |
I found something moving on the bush in the garden and gazed at it with attention, it was a little lizard. It was surprise for me to find it on the bush because I thought the lizard is one of the repliles crawling on the ground. |
When I was taking railway photographs in Fukuoka, I found a crab crawling on the railroad in the level crossing. I was worrying he or she could go back to the beach safely, as he or she was about 200m from the seashore. |
"Diamond Fuji" is the phenomenon that the sun rises from or sets on the top of the Mt.Fuji. I saw it from the Sakuradai Park which locates near my house. Unfortunately, the position of the sunset shifts slightly right which means the accurate "Diamond Fuji" can be seen on 24th. |
Some geckoes have appeared on the wall at the side of the front door of my house to get insects gathering around the light. I found two ones on the wall on 22.00. in the night. I wihshed them not to disappear, started takeing their photographs, and ended with 14 shots. |
A whale has appeared in Sodegaura, Tokyo Bay. Unfortunately, I took photographs of his or her ridge emerged from surface, even I stayed here 2 hours in the rain. |
A seal named Tama-chan appeared in Arakawa River 2 weeks ago. I took his photographs in Tama and Katabira Rivers, and have desired to do in Arakawa River too. I had a free holiday after a long interval today. So I lost no time in meeting him. Fortunately, he was just trying to take on the deck of the vessel when I arrived at the bank. |
|
Many onlookers were on the opposite bank of the river. After I took some photographs from this side where the number of onlookers were fewer, I moved to the opposite side and began to take his photographs through the crowd. |
|
He has had a hook with a red line on the skin of the upper part of the right eye. But it had been already released when I saw him today. |
The initial plan of today was to take photographs of the extra trains of 165 series at Musashino Freight Line. But early in the morning, I got information that the seal named Tama-chan appeared in the Katabira River. So at first I went to the enbankment in Nishi Ward. After arrival, I found him swimming calmly. |
|
Although I moved along the enbankment with Tama-chan, he moved as if he escaped from me. So I stayed for a time. He tried to get on the bank, but unfortunately the tide was too high. |
|
In 30 minutes after arrival, I took fourteen photographs. But he disapeared on 8.30. I stayed there until 9.30, I left to pursue the extra trains. |
|
Gratitude |
I listened to the news of NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) that a seal trapped in the Tama River and left my house to look him on. After arrival at the bank of Tama River, I set the 300mm lense and the teleconverter of x2 on my camera to take photographs of the seal when he was breaking surface every a few minutes. He was repeatedly diving and surfacing for a time, to disapeared. |
This eclipse of the moon was the last one of the 20th century. I put the tripod on the balcony, and took some photographs of the moon. Unfortunately, all of them were with overexposure. |
I took this photo at Noboribetsu in Hokkaido. You had better refrain from touching directly because they have strong parasites named Ecynococcus |
I took this one with 300mm lense after I took some photographs of the Night Train named Fuji with the background of Mt. Fuji. |
The barrier was filled with many graffito because West Germany (Bundes Republik Deuchland) did not recognise the existance of this barrier. So, at the end of the street on this side of the barrier, the signboard said "You are now leaving West Berlin." Original sentence: SIE VERLASSEN JETZT WEST BERLIN. |
